EW and I went to Vail for Christmas. I have not been on a pair of skies for at least 7 years if not longer. He tried to convince me to spend one day taking lessons and I said no. I definitely should have said yes. I think I would have had a better experience if I would have known what in the world I was doing.

Vail Village is a gorgeous mountain town. It has a very European feel. The sidewalks are heated so you don't have to deal with icy sidewalks. Dream. Most of the trees are lit and all have snow hanging on the branches. It is so adorable.
My face looks very swollen here... I think it must be the change in altitude cause no way could it be ALL the cookies I ate while home last weekend...
Time to go sit in the hot tub for a bit and then eat some dinner. Yum.I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas!

and TOTALLY the change in altitude. I've been experiencing that altitude change for like 4 months. grrr.
Glad you had such a great time! You look fantastic!!! I would be dead on skis, it has been so long. Do you remember going into the BYU food court on Sunday in your ski clothes. I still laugh at you telling that story.

Looks like you had a great time. I hope you a wonderful Christmas. I'm still trying to figure out when I'm going to get to Vegas. Daren is going to be down there a ton next month for work but all my kiddos are in school...someone's gotta make sure they go! :) All my weekends are filled up too. Still working on it.
Now that is Christmas!! I love all the snow. But it does look freezing! Good job skiing! :)
