Here we go

2008 was a good year for me (it had its ups and downs like everyone) but I'm imagining, wishing, hoping that 2009 will be even better!

I looked at my "things to accomplish before I die" list on my blog and figured I could get a couple of those things checked off this year.

• I have a co-worker who knits and she has offered to help me with my beginner skills. I think I can get good enough this year to knit myself a sweater.

• I will work on going to all of the major league baseball stadiums. I already know of two for sure for this year.
  

• I have 6 months to try and get to Peru before Amri and Brett are outta there. I would love to check Machu Picchu off my list in '09.
  

• I will start preparing for my biking trip to Glacier National Park in 2010 with my nephew Josh.

• And I don't care what it takes. I am cooking this year. I really, really want to become a cook. I've got to make that happen.

I love a new year and the renewed commitments to living a better life. I want to be a better friend, daughter, sister, aunt, neighbor, and co-worker.
