getting into the groove again

Why is it when one gets out of the habit of exercising that it is SO hard to get back into a routine? I spent some time this afternoon pondering goals to get me back on track. I think I have a plan in place; I must execute. Anyone have any brilliant ideas on how to stay on track? I wish it was as simple as eating a piece of chocolate everyday. But it just isn't.
(After pondering I did get off my duff and went to the gym. Plan started)

have a tracker on your blog for all to see. I'm finding it highly motivating to know a few ppl can see what my mile tracker is...I'm still pathetically slow...but I'm doing more than I'd be doing if I WASN'T tracking for the world to see.
Or we could bet $100 again since we're so good at that!

Execute or be executed. But that's a little harsh.

I don't know. I was exercising regularly in Columbia, MO...even lost 24 lbs. Then we moved to Illinois and a few years later here to Virginia. I've put back 19 lbs. and just need to do it again. Execute or be executed. Best of luck!

Yeah, I wish I knew. For some reason the thought of sitting on the couch or even cleaning my house, doing laundry, sleeping or ANYTHING sounds better than sweating my guts out running. I really need to do something though. I will start brainstorming...
