Daily thoughts from Erin

I feel old today. I woke up this morning and got ready for work and looked in the mirror and I think I noticed a couple new wrinkles and weird spots on my face. :( I always prided myself on looking younger than my age but I think the time has come that my age and looks are a match. I'm not happy about this and am feeling ever so anxious to see a dermatologist and have laser something of some sort. That will help, right?! Ugh.

I am 100% addicted to Diet Coke! Addicted. Addicted. Addicted. I cannot go a day without craving it. I try really hard to only drink it on the weekends but that does not mean that any day goes by and I don't want it. I say its the fizziness that I crave but I'm sure it is the evil aspartame that I crave. I think those artificial sweeteners are evil and should be banned. Banned for me so I can stop this addiction. Even when I'm on my game and exercising 3-4 times/week and eating all sorts of fruits and veggies I still crave it. What is a girl suppose to do?! Are there Diet Coke anonymous support groups? I need help. Suggestions??

Suggestion: Give me your house and possessions and I'll buy you a one-way ticket to Mozambique where they do not serve Diet Coke. =p I'd say thats the best suggestion you've heard in quite some time =)

I think it's the Diet Coke aging you.

Just kidding! You don't look a day over 29!

But seriously, DC is pure EVIL!

A Diet Coke obsession? I simply can't relate. I am not held in its unforgiving yet oh-so-desireable grasp, nor am I wed to its delicious, sugary, esophagus-burning, calorie-free excellence. I am not lustfully addicted to it as if it were my life's one true love. No no, it moves me not at all.

Seriously, I am giving up Diet Coke starting right....... now. Or maybe starting today after lunch. Definitely giving it up sometime before nightfall. Today (or tonight). The moment is NOW.

(Sorry, wish I could help. Clearly, I'm wrestling with it myself!).

Erin, if you find a support group, let me know. I need it too! I have to have one a day (at least) on a bad day, I am not responsible for what I drink :) so consider yourself VERY good. Any by the way, you are gorgeous, so forget about the wrinkles, they say that they are the signs of a life well lived.

Oh my gosh you bunch of sissy's! Diet Coke isn't even addicting, Dr Pepper on the other hand is as good as crack or weed... addicting and delicious (Don't worry, Ive only tried crack n' weed a handful of times =p) I could give up on Diet Coke like *snap* that! In fact, I just did =) suck on that addicts!
