Aryn and I drove up to St George at 4p yesterday to see one of my favorite plays at the Tuacahn outdoor theatre. My good friend Angel from my college days lives in St George so we picked her up and made her come with us. If you have not seen this play or have not been to Tuacahn theatre, you must do both before you die. But I suggest not going to the theatre in the summer. Its an outdoor theatre and I really cannot imagine how warm it must be in the evenings there. It was perfect temp last night for the last evening of September. It is nestled in the red rock canyon and quite lovely.I did forget how long this performance can be though... 3 hours long... did not make it back to Henderson until 1am. Crazy. But what was more crazy is I forgot my camera. so sad! It is probably best... all the actors were in the plaza after the show... I would have gone a little nutty taking pictures with all of them just for purposes of posting on my blog.
Oh, the performance of Javier was by far the best performance I have ever seen and I have seen this play 5 times and that includes performances in NYC and London. He was amazing.
