I am just one person

I spent a big chunk of my weekend cleaning my house and by Monday it was a mess again. There are 2 loads of clean laundry sitting on my kitchen table, my coffee table is a disaster with junk mail and a stack of CDs that I was downloading to my iPod, and my dishwasher has clean dishes that I just haven't gotten around to unloading.

I'm taking a day off work to get things at home together but then I took on a painting project (bedroom) which will probably be the only thing I really get done. I need to clean out my garage, get my budget in order, desperately go grocery shopping, still get my car to the shop post accident (it was just a fender bender; not my fault) and finish tying a quilt.

It is 4am and I'm up cause I can't sleep. There is absolutely nothing on tv so I guess it is time to unload the dishwasher!

But my point is, it is just me. How do I manage to always feel behind in getting things done around my house? I need that team from Home Made Simple to come teach me some things. Ha ha.

It always seems that there are a ton of things to be done. Problem is, the fun ones seem to get done first at my house. Oh well! I have a list right there with you.
