Labor Day weekend

I was so ready for this 3 day weekend. Eric flew in Saturday morning and we drove up to Duck Creek Village in Utah (same place I went with Aryn and Deana in June).

We got settled and went to Camp Lunt where we heated up some tasty Baked Beans, roasted hot dogs and then had some yummy smores over a camp fire. Thanks Deana for offering us to do that. We made sure the fire was completely out before we left :)

We rented this side-by-side ATV for an entire day. We woke up to loads of rain and very cold weather. It was not going to stop us from enjoying our rental. After about 3 hours we were completely COMPLETELY soaked and freezing cold. We went back to the lodge, changed clothes, ate lunch and headed out again. By this time the rain had stopped, the trails were nice and muddy and the weather was bearable. What a great time! I only felt scared twice; once when going up a very steep hill and once when Eric thought he needed to go full throttle on switchbacks. Such a guy! :)
It was a good thing that I didn't know these Rhino's were subject to rollovers until after the experience.

We saw a family of about 5 wild turkeys. That is a turkey in the picture. Ha ha.

Thanks EW for a great holiday weekend!

What an incredibly fun weekend! I still get a little nervous on the rhinos but they are tons of fun! I think Labor Day is the best camping weekend!
