A good jealousy

I am 100% jealous of you stay-at-home Mom's. I took a couple days off work to get some things done around my house and to just take a break from work. I have never been so at peace, calm and relaxed. Granted, I've managed to spend $800 on dryer repair and new car tires (grrrrr) but I've been able to leisurely get up, watch the Today Show, email my friends, do some much needed house cleaning and to wander around Target and Lowe's.

OK, so I don't have kids running around needing my attention so maybe I'm jealous of the stay-at-home wives or stay-at-home I won the lottery or stay-at-home I'm living off Daddy's money. Whatever it would take to get me to this place every day that is the person I'm jealous of :)

I broke down and purchased the first two books in the Twilight Series. Can't wait to see what all the hubba-ba-lub is about.

Erin, I'll be interested to hear your take on the books as I feel like I'm in a perpetual tug-o-war between people who love them and people who hate them. Maybe your review will be the deciding vote...

I thought you would have already read those books. I have not yet, so am eager to hear what you think.

It is fun staying home...but I wouldn't quite call it relaxing...with 2 kids. I'm with you I think it would be fun to be the stay-at-home I won the lottery wife...By they way, I'm bringing Macie over at 7 for you to babysit;)

I loved the books. Definitely a much needed break from all the serious reading I usually do. Plus, with a ton of teenage girls around, it gave us something to enjoy together.

Those books are amazing. I loved them. Yes, I too am jealous of the people who stay home and then complain that their nap was only 20 minutes instead of 60. BOO HOO. Glad you got a break!

I still need to the read the twilight books. My sister and sister-in-law loves them and can't wait for the movie. As for stay at home moms. Now that I am one I'm jealous of all of you working women. I have a 6 month old and pregnant with another one and it's the hardest thing I've ever done. Going to stores isn't really fun anymore but I'm so happy to be able to stay home and raise my children. I'm one of the few lucky ones. YAY

Surprise! Rachel pays a visit to your blog....

I have been a bit MIA lately and now am playing catch up on my blog reading.

Let me know if you end up liking these or not. I did... but I'm not obsessed like so many I know.
