Ahhhh, Lifetime Movie

I really, really liked the book The Memory Keeper's Daughter. In fact, I recently gave it to my Mother to read. As I was chatting with my friend Aryn this evening she told me that it was turned into a made for tv movie on Lifetime. Lifetime! Is it just me or is there a stereotype with Lifetime movies? No, Meredith Baxter Birney is not in it. But I like to think I chose books that are smart and are not made into Lifetime movies.
(Yes I am sitting here watching it. I have to.)

I just finished that book today and really liked it. But a Lifetime movie...I am not sure how I feel about that.

I loved that book, too! I gave my copy to my mother, also.
I DVR's Lifetime movie and then sat and watched it with Alex (she's 12) She liked it. I cried at the end. The endings were definately different, but I think they did a very good job in keeping with the book. (mostly).
