They have these camera people throughout the stadium who take pictures and then get you to buy them online (which we have before. suckers!). I thought this was hysterical. This man who we do not know at all wanted to get in our picture. I think he adds something to it, eh?
We went to the Saturday night game and our friend, Rafi hooked us up with some great seats behind the Rockies dugout. I couldn't help myself and kept yelling to the players who were leaning against the dugout railing. They totally acknowledged me and tried to throw me a ball but well, I can't catch. I finally did get a ball that they rolled across the top of the dugout so there was really no way I could miss it. I felt like a teenager and Eric, well, he didn't know what to think of me. But he was glad I finally got a ball. I think I like those seats! ;)Our building dumpster is right outside the garage opening to our building. We were coming back from running errands one day and this is what we saw. And this squirrel could care less we were there. He was not letting go of that toasted bread. We watched him for a few minutes chomping away at his treasure.
I love this last picture. I wish it showed this creation better. There is a construction site downtown that is all fenced off and will be for quite some time and is also a popular walkway. We were walking by and saw these girls decorating the fencing with yarn flowers. They had bags and bags of these flowers and were attaching them to the fencing with zip ties. It was beautiful. I wanted to talk to them and ask them why and how and all that stuff but instead I just stood in awe that they would take the time to do this. I need to go back and see if it is still there. I hope people would respect their creativity and leave it as is.
I have one other thing I did this week but won't share until my friend sends me the pictures. Julie, send those pictures! :)
