Week 40

Eric and I were on target for a round of IUI this weekend and it got canceled which is a whole different, irritating story. So we decided to get away for a night. One of the perks of Eric traveling so much is he racks up hotel reward points. He called Marriott and we were able to stay at this amazing place at Bachelor Gulch (about 10 miles from Vail, CO) on Friday night.

It was a king suite with a full kitchen. It really was one of the best places we have stayed. And it was free! We were there for 24 hours and it was heaven.

We sat by the pool most of the day. Its hard to see but right behind the trees in the middle is a ski lift. I think this may need to be a winter destination as well.

After we got back to town, we headed over to the Rockies game. After the game was their annual fireworks show. I love how they let the fans onto the field to enjoy the show. What a sight!

We are going to hit the Cherry Creek Art Festival this afternoon and just relax the rest of our holiday weekend. Happy 4th everyone!!
