On a last minute whim, Eric and I hit the Rockies vs Cardinals game last night with some friends. As the evening progressed, the air temperature kept dropping and the wind picked up. Pretty much it was very cold for a July evening and we were not prepared. Top of the 9th inning the Rockies were trailing 9-3 and everyone was freezing so we decided to leave. I want you all to know that we NEVER leave a game early. Like Never. But the peer pressure got to us. We left.
We get home, turn on the TV and we hear "Rockies win!" Excuse me? What? They were trailing 9-3! They had the biggest comeback in Rockies history last night with a 9 Run 9th inning!! We sat there on the couch in shock and then we sat there so upset that we left and then we sat there in shock some more. What an inning to miss!! We will NEVER leave a game early again! I'm still in a bit of shock this morning that we missed it.

I;m always nervous to leave games early in case something like that happened:) Shoot!
I've learn that lesson... if you take the time to go to the game (a rare event for the wife and I) you stay for the whole thing!
