Don't ever underestimate the power of quarter, dimes, nickels and pennies. Eric and I took a good size bag of change to the coinstar at the grocery store yesterday. His guess was $86.40 and mine was $97.37. Total? $241.16. We felt like we won the lottery. And that was a good feeling because we did play the powerball last night and only got one matching number. Ha.
It was a quiet week in the Werth household. Eric traveled Tuesday - Friday. I hit monthly book club and a Pampered chef party. It was my first Pampered chef party and it was fun. Watch out Denver friends, I might just be inviting you to an April Pampered chef shindig. But I promise we will eat well.
5 minute countdown to team USA vs. Canada in the Gold medal hockey game. We went to our favorite restaurant Dixon's for breakfast. Now we can sit nice and full and enjoy the game. We might have some girl scout cookies to munch on as well. The girl scouts were standing outside the grocery store after our lottery win; we couldn't resist.
Go team USA!
