These are the giant people statues at the Denver Performing Arts Center. I could see them from the deck and wanted to take a pic of them dancing in the rain. Today was another wet day. The rain is just now stopping and the baseball game is on a slight rain delay. We did manage to BBQ. I should say Eric managed to BBQ...
Sweet corn, homemade potato salad (by yours truly), jerk chicken and gingerale. Yum!
I'm quite proud of my potato salad. I took the recipe from The Pioneer Woman Cooks and doctored it up a bit (added crumbled bacon :)) It turned out great.

Deana will laugh and laugh and laugh when she sees my feet in these. I'm not gonna lie I felt a bit lezbo buying them but are they ever comfortable! I'm a true Denver girl now!Now off to the Rockies vs. DBacks game!

That food looks yummy! Looks like a fun weekend. But we wish you were here with us for the 4th! I agree, very patriotic to be at a baseball game on the 4th, can't get much better!
Makes me miss those Arizona 4th of July BBQ's- we NEVER had rain! Funny pictures with the umbrella. Wish you were in town this week. I'd love to see you. Maybe next time
make sure you NEVER wear those sandals w/o EW by your side.
