I changed books

The Shack portrayed God as a big african-american woman and Jesus as a middle eastern man. I couldn't get beyond that... I'm sure I will finish it one day but I had to put it down for now.

I am so excited about this book. She is one of my favorite authors; wrote Namesake and Interpreter of Maladies. This book is a series of several short stories. I read two of them on my plane ride home last night. Loved it.
