Amri came all the way from Peru just to see me. OK, not really but I like to pretend. We've had such a good time catching up. I took off work today and we did a little shopping and then headed to the Wynn resort to have a little lunch and lounge by the pool all afternoon. We completely lucked out with the weather. It is monsoon season here still and it was overcast the entire afternoon. We never got hot - it was unbelievable. We met up with Aryn for dinner - this is the three of us at one of my favorite Mexican restaurants - El Jefe's. Yes my eyes are slightly closed. Why do I always do that?!
Amri brought me this really great bracelet from Peru. Each square has a picture of a different saint. Apparently they are very popular in Peru. See the red stain on my wrist? Yep, from the bracelet after being in the pool. You mean they don't make high quality bracelets in Peru?! Unacceptable. :)
Thanks Amri for coming to visit. I think I better get to Peru in the next year before you leave.
