Merry Christmas! (week 65)

Eric and I were very selfish with our Christmas this year. We figured it was the last year it would just be the two of us and well, we wanted it to just be the two of us. So it was.

We started our Christmas Eve with mass at the Catholic church across the street on DU campus. It was a wonderful service complete with children nativity and choir and Christmas music sing-a-long. After, we prepared what has become our tradition of crab legs and steak with cheese fondue and cheesy potatoes. My stomach still has issues today from all that cheese. We opened our presents that evening and watched Elf. Without sounding all sappy and stuff, it really was a perfect Christmas Eve for us. One to always remember.

Christmas morning included Eric's fantastic french toast breakfast with sausage, eggs and blackberries. We did a few things around the house and went back to bed around 10:30a and slept until 1:30p. Who does that?! We did and we loved it!

Its been a wonderful weekend... hate to see it end...
