Week 51

Eric traveled most of last week while I fought a head cold. He came home with the same head cold on Friday. Tis the season.

We chilled out Friday night and then got up Saturday and headed to Estes Park/Rocky Mountain Natl Park for the day. The Aspen trees have turned a gorgeous yellow up there. We saw a nice herd of elk and stopped and ate a picnic lunch. It was actually warmer up there then it was in Denver which was so strange.

Sunday we went over to Rob and Leslie's home to watch the Green Bay vs Buffalo football game. They are (obviously) huge Green Bay fans. Even though the Bills got crushed, it was really fun spending time with them and their new little baby. Baby Charles even had on a Green Bay onesie. He is so cute.

They made this nice spread just for Eric... Funny.
Sunday night, Molly and Jason came over for cake and ice cream. Did I mention it is my birthday? Monday, the 20th. Cards are still welcome. :)
Eric made a cake from scratch and even decorated it. What a guy! Molly made some amazing homemade ice cream to go along with it. I'm still in a sugar coma. Yummy stuff!

I did not blow out all the candles in one breath. I guess that means we really are having a boy. Ha.
Can't wait for lunch tomorrow with the ladies.

Lucky Eric has my birthday one weekend and our anniversary the next... for the rest of his life. Lucky him! Birthday weekend was perfect and I know anniversary will be as well. He is a good, thoughtful man.
