Are having their own baby...
Hooray!We are 11 weeks along and the baby looks good and the heartbeat is strong. Yeah!
We found out on July 19th. I woke up with the typical PMS symptoms and thought for sure my period was about to start. I had a pregnancy test on hand and thought I would just take it anyway. You canNOT believe the shock when that line went positive. How could it be positive? I had cramps like crazy. I was shaking and didn't know what to do first. Eric was in Philadelphia for work and I debated on whether to call him or have a surprise when he got home three days later. But please, do you know me? I can't keep a secret to save my life. I called him immediately and we both cried on the phone to each other. Then I went to Walgreens to buy another test. :) After that one turned positive as well, I called the doctor and went in for blood work the next day and then 3 days later to make sure my hormone levels were increasing. All looked good and that is when we told our families.
Our estimated due date is March 27th. I've had a few days of nausea but not too bad. I mostly have been tired and just feeling blah. Any day that I feel good, I try and get out and exercise. I pretty much could eat non-stop right now but am trying really hard not to and Eric has been really good about preparing very healthy meals for me.
We are excited and nervous and all the emotions a 37 and 39 year old could possibly feel being parents for the first time.
Yes, we already have names picked out. No, we don't want to find out the gender. Yes, Eric wants a boy and I want a girl. Shocking. ;)

So so happy. Awesome that you have felt so good, awesome that you heard a heart beat, and awesome that you don't waste money on name brand pregnancy tests. That's my girl!

Love it! Absolutely love it! Congrats! You're gonna be one fabulous mom. :) That feeling of learning you're going to have a baby is indescribable. And THEN...the feeling of holding him/her in your arms for the first time. Wow. Get ready for the water works! :) So happy for you both.
