The President's kids may have a great new dog but I have chipmunks... and they are eating the food that I put out there for them!! They shove the corn pieces and sunflower seeds into their mouths until those little cheeks are bursting and then run back under the wood patio and deposit it... somewhere. No obedience school, no hiring a pooper scooper, no dog hair on my furniture, no boarding fees when I travel.Okay, okay, I admit... I'm SO jealous of that dog! Did you see how cute it is?! Someday... sigh.

And the real truth, Erin, is that chipmunks are just like squirrels, which are rats in nicer fur. Oh I really really really detest them. They eat everything I plant (try 200 tulip bulbs! and I'm petrified to try tomatoes!) and then they just stare at you like they've gotten the best of you.
