Week 60

My first knitting project for the baby - a cute little jester hat. I took two pics in hopes one could get a good sense of what it looks like. The lighting in our house at night isn't very good. It was my first attempt at doing points like this. I've really only done scarves up to this point. I think it turned out pretty well for my first hat. It looks so, so little. Can a baby's head really be so little? We hope he can wear it home from the hospital.

We took our Christmas card pictures this weekend, uploaded them to an online card website and sent them to the printer. I'm quite proud of us for getting this done before Thanksgiving. Yes, they are way cheesy. But I really like getting Christmas cards with pictures, so cheesy or not, we plan on doing it every year. No sneak previews, sorry. You must wait for the real thing.

We had a good friend (Robert) come over Saturday morning and take the pics. Our typical Saturday is usually cleaning the house and doing laundry until at least noon in our PJ's. We felt like we couldn't do our chores after getting up and getting ready so early. So our laundry and chores have yet to be done. But its good to shake things up, right? Instead we hit a new restaurant (Freshcraft) walking distance from us for lunch. It was really good comfort food. I highly recommend it for all the Denver locals.

This is Robert's little guy, Charles. He came over too. Isn't he a cutie! And yes, he is sticking his hand down my shirt. Boys. ;)

We are very much looking forward to a nice, long Thanksgiving weekend and deep frying a turkey with the Reynolds.

Isn't it so fun to make stuff for the baby? It's even better when they finally get to wear/use it.

Great job on the hat : ).
