A friend of mine taught me how to knit about 18 months ago. I've knitted only 2 scarfs and about 4 bowls and decided it was time to pick up the hobby again so I headed down to the yarn store in Denver and found a little project. The pattern said Advanced Beginner - no problem, right?! - wrong! I'm making simple little wristlets (gloves without fingers) and am about to restart it for the third time! I think this time will be the final one though. I've figured out how to make the thumb hole and have mastered (well, maybe not mastered) the cable pattern. Here is a picture from time #2 - project still looked good at this point. I'll post the final piece once I finish.
