Today is our official due date. And officially, there are minimal signs this baby is ready to see the world. I started having back contractions on Friday along with some other things that male readers don't want to hear but then it all subsided by the time I woke up and got moving on Saturday. So the likelihood of him joining us on the outside today? Not so likely.
This past Friday was my last day at work and now I'm on maternity leave. Hate to waste maternity days for a baby that isn't here but it will be nice to do a few other things as this week starts. What will I do? I want to make a few casseroles that I can freeze. I have yet to buy this baby a single outfit. Weird, right? It's time to hit the mall. I'm going out to lunch with some girlfriends. And I'm craving cinnamon rolls - they are on my list to make today.
If this baby isn't here by Thursday, I'm getting induced. My doctor was not pleased with this decision - they are fine with me going up to 2 weeks over - but I really don't want a 10 lb baby. And my stomach is itching like no other. No more room to grow. Week 40 picture? You might be horrified.

I'd like a pic as well. You have been on my brain the last few days! (maybe cause I've been painting and the last time I painted you were planted on my couch looking up at me ;)) I dreamt last night that I was holding the cutest little red-headed baby on either side of the Mississippi :). But alas, this kid has no intention of humoring me (why do these things always happen to ME??) Love ya!

I went 2 weeks over with my first 2 and it was not a good thing...for my husband or myself. I support your decision for Thursday. Can't wait! And good luck!
Im sorry I have been such a slacker at posting on your blog. You look so cute pregnant! I know that is the last thing you want to hear right now. I hope you were able to find some cute clothes for him on your mall trip:) Shopping for babies is so much fun! Can't wait till he's here!
