week 67 post 1

We have had one busy week! Eric's family came to town to celebrate his 40th birthday. His actual birthday is Jan 13th but his beloved Buffalo Sabres were in town playing the Colorado Avalanche so we knew we had to celebrate a week early at the game. What a great time we had! We rented a suite for the game and invited friends as well as the family to celebrate with us. Here is a picture of the family prior to the game. His sister Robyn decked everyone out in Sabres jerseys.

Eric and me... my shirt says Rookie right across my baby bump. I got a ton of comments from other Sabres fans at the game. Cute shirt.

His family has this great tradition for birthdays that end in '0'. They get a pie in the face. And his Mom got him good. At the game. In the suite. He had so much whip cream in his eyes that they were red and watery the rest of the evening. And we made a bit of a mess in the suite. Oops.

One day we drove up to Loveland to spend time with his Mother's sister. Here is Dodie welcoming us into her home...

She scheduled a tour of the New Belgium Brewery in Ft Collins. The family enjoying a tasting after the tour...
